Stellaloom

Stellaloom is a star-map poster creator developed and published by David Stubbs. This policy explains what information is processed when you use the app and how it is handled.
The short version: Stellaloom has no accounts, advertising or analytics. Your poster wording, saved maps and generated images stay on your device unless you choose to share them. The developer does not operate a server that receives or stores your information.
Poster wording, dates, times, coordinates, preferences and saved maps are kept locally on your device. Generated PNG and PDF files remain on your device unless you choose to save or share them.
You can delete individual saved maps inside the app. Uninstalling Stellaloom removes its locally stored data from the device, subject to Apple’s normal device backup behaviour.
Stellaloom requests location permission only after you choose Current Location. The result fills the star-map fields and is not sent to the developer. You can use manual coordinates instead and never grant location permission.
Place search is provided by Apple’s MapKit service and is subject to Apple’s privacy policy.
Weather lookup is optional and happens only when you request it. To obtain cloud cover, Stellaloom sends the selected coordinates and date to Open-Meteo. Open-Meteo states that its server logs may include IP addresses and geographical coordinates and are deleted after 90 days. See Open-Meteo’s terms and privacy information.
The manual cloud-cover setting remains available without a weather lookup.
When you use the iOS share sheet or save an export to Photos, the selected destination and Apple’s relevant privacy terms apply. Stellaloom does not upload exports to the developer.
Apple may collect diagnostic information if the app crashes, depending on your device privacy settings. Stellaloom contains no third-party analytics or crash reporting SDK.
Stellaloom is not designed to collect personal information from children and does not knowingly do so.
If this policy changes in a meaningful way, the updated version will be posted at this URL with a revised date.
